The TMS shortlist for a hazmat fleet gets short fast once you test three things: workflow configurability, scheduling accuracy, and integration breadth.
Skip the feature list. When evaluating a transportation management system for hazmat or chemical freight, the question that matters is simpler: can your team change the driver workflow yourselves, or does every new requirement require a call to support?
That distinction separates the platforms worth a serious look from the ones that aren't.
Configurability comes first.
