Which one fits your operation?
BeyondTrucks
You are a shipper with a private fleet that exists in your company for strategic reasons, including for instance to deliver higher service levels to customers.
You are a specialized transportation company that handles complex or deeply shipper specific service requirements and struggles with generic truckload focused transportation management systems. Examples include transportation companies for bulk or oversized materials, chemicals, fuel, construction materials or equipment, as well as agricultural inputs or outputs.
You want a specialized platform that elevates the strategic advantage your fleet delivers to your company, rather than a generic component of a multi-module supply chain suite.
You are looking to deeply transform your fleet operations leveraging our expertise in transportation management and artificial intelligence.
Manhattan Associates
You are a large shipper, retailer, grocer or 3PL orchestrating freight across many carriers and modes.
You are already running or planning to run warehouse, yard and order management from the same vendor, and unification is the point.
Common Questions
Is BeyondTrucks a replacement for Manhattan's full supply chain suite?
No. Manhattan Active Transportation Management is one module inside a broader suite that also covers warehouse, yard, labor, order and planning systems. BeyondTrucks is a platform for the fleet side only, but can technically integrate into the overall Manhattan supply chain suite. If you need a single unified system across warehouse, yard and transportation from a single vendor and your transport operations rely solely on outsourced carriers, Manhattan's suite approach is the better fit.
We already run Manhattan for our warehouse or yard. Can we still use BeyondTrucks for our fleet?
Yes. Because BeyondTrucks has modern architecture and can integrate easily into adjacent systems, it can sit alongside an existing Manhattan deployment and handle the specialized asset-carrier workflows, driver and equipment compliance, and dispatch optimization that Manhattan's transportation module treats more generically.
Our fleet has specialized requirements like chemical, bulk or construction materials hauling. Does that matter?
It's the core reason BeyondTrucks exists. Generic truckload-focused systems, including Manhattan's transportation module, aren't built around driver and equipment qualification rules, trailer last-contained product tracking, or wash requirements the way BeyondTrucks is. Fleets with these constraints tend to outgrow generic dispatch tools quickly.
How does implementation differ between the two?
BeyondTrucks implementations are led by a specialized in-house team of transportation operators and AI experts focused on transforming your processes. Manhattan's suite deployments are typically partner-led and run longer, since they usually span multiple modules rather than a single platform.
Does BeyondTrucks handle multi-modal freight and carrier orchestration like Manhattan?
That's Manhattan's strength, not BeyondTrucks'. Manhattan is built for shippers, retailers, grocers and 3PLs orchestrating freight across many carriers and modes. BeyondTrucks is built asset-first, for the fleet operating its own drivers and equipment, not for managing outside carriers.
How do the AI capabilities compare?
Both platforms use AI for planning. Manhattan focuses on continuous shipment planning optimization across carrier, rate, route and mode, along with productivity agents and an agent-building tool. BeyondTrucks focuses on load assignment optimization for your own drivers, tractors and trailers, plus coding agents that turn plain-language rate rules into working code, so configuration doesn't require a developer.
How does pricing compare?
Both are enterprise-priced and quoted rather than published outright. BeyondTrucks uses subscription pricing with a-la-carte add-ons so fleets pay for what fits their operation. Manhattan offers three enterprise editions with pricing set at that tier.
What size or type of operation is each one built for?
BeyondTrucks is built for mid-market and enterprise private fleets and specialized transportation companies competing on service and specialization. Manhattan is built for large shippers, retailers, grocers, manufacturers, wholesalers and 3PLs managing freight across many carriers, generally at a scale that justifies an enterprise suite investment.
