What chemical transport fleets actually need from a digital form, and why most software misses it

Chemical transport fleets need digital forms with product-level fields their own admin can change, tied to the load record the moment they are submitted. 

Every fleet software vendor will tell you they support digital forms. What they usually mean is a digital signature and maybe a photo. For chemical transport, that's not close to enough. 

A chemical delivery form typically needs to capture product-specific detail: lot numbers, quantities, container condition, site-specific handling notes, sometimes a hazard acknowledgment. None of that is exotic, but most driver apps were built around general freight, where a signature and a delivery confirmation cover it. Retrofitting product-specific fields into that kind of app usually means a support ticket and a wait, right when a customer requirement just changed and a fleet needs the form updated now.

I'd push any fleet evaluating software here to ask a blunt question: can you show me, right now, how your team would add a new required field to a delivery form. If the answer takes more than a few minutes to demonstrate, that's the real limitation, not the form itself.
